The main theme of my art has always been the quiet moments in nature. I try to present the viewer with serene images of the landscape, allowing them to feel the solitude of the outdoors. I consider myself foremost a landscape artist, and even when using wildlife in a setting, it is often there only as a means of achieving balance or a focal point in a scene. The compostion of the landscape may or may not include elements of human interaction, however I want people to be able to imagine themselves having been there when they view my work, hopefully evoking an appreciation for the natural world.
