Having graduated from the Ontario College of Art & Design in 1997, Leanne has a home-based studio in Brooklin, ON, where she is the sole creator of a functional line of procelain and stoneware portery. Consisting of useful items for the table and home, the pottery line has soft contemporary green, yellow, blue, and brown glaze colours. The forms are refined, and uncomplicated, which allows for subtle details and creative surface effects.

Drawing inspiration from nature Leanne combines function and visual attributes in her pieces with subdued colours and organic shapes.  Most of the pieces are created on the potter's wheel and some are formed from slabs of rolled out clay. Details such as stamping, carving, and pressing objects in the clay add to the uniqueness of her pottery. The pottery is high fired and as a result it is strong and durable for everyday use including use in the microwave and dishwasher.
