Labelle-Johnson, Anne PDF Print E-mail

In her watercolour paintings, Anne emulates the delicacy and gracefulness of the flowers she paints and her brush strokes give vitality to lush gardens and fresh plants.  Occasionally, under a leaf or behind a blossom, you will find a kitten enjoying the solitude of a beautiful place in which to ponder.

Creatively, Anne brings together two elements of nature which are close to her heart.

Anne was born in Toronto, but grew up on a farm in Green River and moved to Oshawa in 1968.

A long time member of the Oshawa Art Association, she has studied Watercolour with artists in Durham Region, Haliburton School of Fine Arts and Palm Beach County, Fla.

Her paintings have been accepted in juried shows with the Oshawa Art Association, the Palm Beach Watercolour Society and the Delray Art League, where she won second place honors in the watercolour division.

Anne is the newly elected President of the Oshawa Art Association,  and is a member of the Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Durham West Arts Centre and the Whitby Station Gallery.

Anne’s paintings can be found in homes in Toronto, Durham Region, Montreal, England, Scotland, Boca Raton and Delray Beach.
